MARKET DAYS.
MAKE YOUR PLAN.

A market can shape a morning: pick up food, stop for coffee and explore the village. Use this calendar to choose one arrival point rather than spending the day changing car parks.

THE LE GOLFE TAKE

Choose a market near the rest of your plans. Thursday offers several options, but you do not need to visit them all.

Markets from Monday to Sunday

The table follows the days listed by the tourist office. Confirm public holidays, weather alerts and one-off changes separately. Summer evening markets are not included.

Three markets with checked hours

Saint-Tropez’s Place des Lices market runs on Tuesday and Saturday, 8am–1pm. Cogolin uses Place Victor-Hugo on Wednesday and Place de la République on Saturday, 8.30am–12.30pm.

Ramatuelle lists its Thursday and Sunday market on Place de l’Ormeau, 8am–12.30pm. Our advice: arrive before late morning so you have time to explore after shopping.

Grimaud village and Port Grimaud: different arrivals

Grimaud village lists its Thursday market from 8am to 1pm. Port Grimaud lists Thursday and Sunday markets from 1 April to 31 October, 8am–1pm, with cancellation possible in bad weather.

The hilltop village and waterside settlement are different destinations. Use the exact market name for directions and check your chosen car park.

Shop around the rest of your day

For fresh food, plan storage and a suitable journey home. Buying fish before several hours of walking is different from visiting a market and returning home for lunch.

For browsing, choose a small budget and a stop for a break. Free entry does not make shopping, transport or parking free.

After the market: stay in the same area

In Ramatuelle, continue through the village streets. In Saint-Tropez, stay around Place des Lices and the centre. In Grimaud, choose either the village or Port Grimaud for the morning.

With young children, use the market as part of a short outing. Plan the return journey and do not assume summer shuttles operate in autumn.

Practical questions.

When is Saint-Tropez market?

Tuesday and Saturday mornings on Place des Lices, 8am–1pm according to the checked official listing.

Does Port Grimaud have a winter market?

The checked listing gives 1 April–31 October for its regular market. For winter, check current events separately.
