Sylvabelle is reached by steps down the slope. Vegetation and rocks frame the sand. Our advice: take in the approach from above, then choose your spot without expecting an empty beach in high summer.

The office describes around a hundred steps. Plan both descent and return with your belongings; this approach does not suit every group. The marker identifies the beach, not the top of the steps or guaranteed parking. Ask for advice if mobility matters to your plans.

Sylvabelle is listed as unpatrolled. Check sea conditions, weather and notices before swimming. Bring water, sun protection and supplies for your planned stay. A nearby restaurant may require returning towards the road; confirm opening before relying on it.
BEYOND THE FIRST LOOK
Our suggestion: allow time to climb back and reach your car or seasonal shuttle. Check transport dates and parking arrangements rather than relying on an old timetable. Take rubbish away and protect vegetation along the approach.
