A short walk from the quays, the Annonciade shifts attention from harbour life to colour. The museum gives Saint-Tropez another dimension. Our idea: make room for a proper visit, then return outside to look at the light on the façades with fresh eyes.

01
See Saint-Tropez through colour
Paul Signac’s arrival in 1892 helped make Saint-Tropez an artistic centre. Founded in 1922, the museum includes Pointillist, Nabi and Fauvist works. Our advice: choose a few paintings and let colour guide your attention rather than trying to rush through everything.
02
Walk here from the quays
The entrance is on Place Georges Grammont, in the former Annonciade chapel. Use authorised town parking and finish on foot. The map marks the museum, not a parking space. In summer, allow time to reach the town centre.
03
Plan the indoor visit
Check the municipal website for opening, closures, exhibitions and current prices. A museum ticket is separate from a free walk beside the harbour. For a pushchair or a specific accessibility requirement, ask the museum about arrangements before travelling.
BEYOND THE FIRST LOOK
Continue through the village
Our suggestion: connect the museum with the harbour and the lanes around Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption. The Citadelle and Maison des Papillons offer other visits to choose around your interests. Leave a break between stops so the day still feels like exploring a village.
